Choosing your child’s name is difficult but it should also be special. Please don’t hate me when I say this but I don’t like it when parents choose to name their child after designer makes like Chanel and Mercedes. Come on people, your child is stuck with this name until they can legally change it by deed poll. I’ve come across a few names and have actually felt sorry for them. Luckily, my parents thought long and hard before naming me, which I shall be ever grateful for.

I would love to say this is a joke but as it’s made the national newspaper, it can’t be. In my opinion, this is stupidity at it’s finest. Most of us are fans of Twitter but could you love it so much in order to call your daughter Hashtag? I think these addictions MUST stop. To be fair, I actually feel sorry for her. She’s got a name, too young to understand what it really means, and living innocently. Kids are cruel and I hope she doesn’t get bullied over her name. I know that’s a bit extreme but then again, so is her name. Bless her!
