Attack in Woolwich, London - I don’t think this post needs any introduction. My heart and sympathy goes out to the family of the soldier who was hacked to death in Woolwich, London, yesterday afternoon. It kinda knocked me back after watching the incident make breaking news. It’s shocking to see how others treat others. No one is safe these days. It just goes to show that you never know what is around the corner. There are a lot of sick, . . . Read more here

Thin and Beautiful Shoppers - I was reading the newspaper a few days ago and saw an article about Abercrombie & Fitch. Instead of it being about fashion, it was about the CEO of the company, Mike Jeffries, stating he ’doesn’t want larger people shopping in his store, he wants thin and beautiful people.” They do not womenswear above large or trousers above a size ten. It is also believed that Jeffies admitted “he doesn’t want his core customers to see . . . Read more here

Complicit - Here we go with another film review. It’s pretty ironic how I watched this film even though I don’t know what the word complicit means. According to the Oxford dictionary it means “involved with others in an activity that is unlawful or morally wrong”. That gives you a clear indiction as to what the film is about. It’s about an MI5 officer who is working on a case of a British terror suspect who he believes is . . . Read more here

Don’t Blame Facebook - Let’s face it. We can’t live without Facebook. We love being nosy and finding out what our friends are up to. With so many social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter, the people that we can meet are endless. As a fan of Twitter (when I can be bothered to use it, out of sheer boredom), I am fascinated with the different types of people who follow me. For regular readers of my blog, you know I love . . . Music is More Than Just Words and Sounds - I was stuck in traffic the other day and was listening to a song called ‘same love’ by Macklemore featuring Ryan Lewis. It was the first time I’d heard it and the lyrics were quite meaningful when I’d listen to them properly. Listen to the song here. Before you start thinking, no, I won’t help people promote their mixtapes on my blog. I get enough of that on Twitter. I’ll actually tell you some of the lyrics which stood . . . Read more here

Mother’s Day - Firstly I would like to wish all mothers out there a very happy mother’s day. I know it’s not easy to be a mother. I admit I can be a bit of a problem child from time to time. I’m definitely more of a problem child when I don’t really buy my mum a present because I think it’s a commercial day. Why do I need to buy my mum a present? How does it make the day better? I believe it’s a made up day just to create . . . Read more here

My Birthday - I had neglected my blog for a short time while I celebrated my birthday. I’m not one of these people who are ashamed to tell everyone my age. I’ve reached a somewhat mature age of 24, time for me to start acting my age now. I say that every year and fail miserably. I’ve wrote a few posts about how certain days are becoming commercial, such as Christmas and Valentine’s Day. I . . . Read more here

My Mum + Technology = Bad Combination – I love the way everyone wants to keep up with the latest technology, regardless of their age. I can’t really blame them because technology is amazing, when you know how to use. It has unlimited uses and is constantly changing. I’m an undercover geek so I like to stay ahead of the news so I know what gadgets are new to the market as well as what they do, which apps to download and so on. I may not have the latest . . . Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents - Yes, you’ve guessed it, time for another post about reality television. Some of you are either jumping for joy or shaking your heads thinking ‘here we go again’.  The principle of the show is quite simple. British teenagers take their first summer holiday  abroad not knowing that their parents are secretly watching them. It may sound like a silly programme but it is really interesting. The teenagers get up to all . . . Read more here

Religion is NOT an Excuse - As you know I am constantly reading the newspapers and watching the news to see which stories emerge. My blog features a lot of posts about love/sex/relationships so when I read about this case, I HAD TO blog about it. I was shocked to read that an eighteen year old Muslim guy, Adil Rashid, had been spared from a person sentence, after raping a thirteen year old, on the basis that he attended an Islamic faith school . . . Polyamory – This is something I came across whilst watching the Ricki Lake show. Before then, word ‘polyamory’ wasn’t in my vocabulary. But you lot seem like smart people so you’ll probably already know. If you don’t, it has a really simple meaning. It is the practice, desire, or acceptance of having more than one intimate relationship at a time with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved. So basically, it means you . . . Read more here

Catfish - It’s a must that I write about this. I was fascinated when I saw the documentary film of Catfish and am loving the TV series on MTV. Catfish was originally based on an American guy who build an online friendship with a girl who had sent him a painting of one of his photographs. This hen turned into an online relationship where he began to fall in love with her. She even introduced him to family members. He . . . Read more here

Banged Up Abroad - As you know, I love to watch television. I’m actually surprised I have time to blog seeing how I watch so many programmes. One of my favourite programmes is Banged Up Abroad. It’s pretty self explanatory. It’s about people who get banged up abroad. Ok, that wasn’t funny. Let me try again. It’s about people who get jailed in foreign countries. In most cases, it’s drug related. I don’t get why people get involved with . . . Read more here

Obesity - I could be really boring here and talk about healthy eating, exercise and blah blah blah. But to be honest, I don’t do it myself and I wouldn’t tell my lovely readers to do it either. It’s boring and I have better things to do with my time. The reason for me writing this post is something serious mixed with a little light heartedness. Snow - Let me put it bluntly, I HATE SNOW with a passion. It’s cute when it snows for a short amount of time when I’m in my house. However, England doesn’t do things by halves. We’ve gone all out with the snow. I woke up on Friday morning and everything was white, it was freezing and yes it looked really nice . . . UNTIL I had to go out. I don’t know if I’m too old for snow or maybe I’m a party pooper. I see . . . Read more here

World’s Fattest Man - I was reading the newspaper this morning and the headlines were “I’ve lost 46st”. When I read the article in full, the man who was supposed to be the world’s fattest man lost a lot of weight by a gastric band bypass on the NHS. For those of you who are not British. For those of you, especially my non-British readers, the NHS is the National Health Service, which provides healthcare for all UK citizens. It’s a free . . . Read more here

Kim Kardashian is Pregnant –  Yes you’ve guessed it, I had to write a post about Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy. Note: this will be a small, brief post and I know a lot of you will have something to say about it by the end of it. Most likely, disagreeing with what I say but hey, here goes. Kayne West announced yesterday on stage that Kim Kardashian is pregnant with his baby. A cool way of doing it but a cheap spin off from the way that Beyonce . . . Read more here

New Year’s Resolutions – Now that Christmas is out of the way, we’re all looking forward to the new year. It’s come by too quickly for my liking, but hey, that’s life. This is the time where we reflect on the year, the good and bad parts, and then try to figure out how we can improve 2013. I don’t bother with making resolutions because I know I can’t stick to them. It’s a waste of time to think about something to do that I know I can’t. Instead . . . Read more here

It Doesn’t Feel Like Christmas –  I’ve heard so many people say “It Doesn’t Feel Like Christmas“, I’m one of those people too. Usually, I’m really excited about it but I don’t know why not this year. I decorated my tree on the 1st December, my house is decorated, the lights are up, the presents are wrapped. I’m not sure what more I can do to make it feel like Christmas. I thought it was just me so I tweeted “is it me or does it not feel like . . . Read more here

End of the World 2012 – Was the world really going to end today? Did anyone actually believe it? To be honest, it was quite amusing, yet very annoying, to see how this was a topic being discussed worldwide. Well fear not, because 21st December 2012 is almost over and I’m still blogging. I can assume we’re all going to be safe. Truth be told, I don’t know much about the story behind the world ending. All I know is that it had . . . Read more here

Growing Up – I don’t understand why everyone is rushing to grow up. Becoming an adult means waking up early every morning, making money, spending about 8 hours a day in an office with people you can’t stand, struggling to pay the bills and mortgage. See why it’s no fun being an adult. There’s a secondary school not too far from my house and oh my days, you should see the children that attend. There’s no way on Earth they . . . Read more here

Is chivalry dead? This is a question that had me baffled for a while. A lot of women are flattered when men open doors for them, pull their chairs out and so on. I kind of agree with it, to a certain extent. I’ve watched a few old films with my mum, you know the black and white type of films. There’s loads of different acts men will do for women, such as: . . .Read more here

Shooting in Connecticut – My heart goes out to anyone who was affected by the shootings in Connecticut. It’s crazy how people are, the lengths they go to, the lack of fear and the general disrespect of others. To kill anyone is a disgusting act, but to kill children. You have to be pretty disturbed and cold in order to do something like that. I was shocked to watch it on the news yesterday morning but the more the story is uncovered, the . . . Read more here

Relationships Gone Wrong – I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while but I’ve been kind of lazy and putting it off so here it finally is. I’ve called it ‘relationships gone wrong’ because I’ve been watching a show called Tool Academy for the past however many weeks. You know I love my reality shows and dating shows. Australian Radio Prank - You must have seen it in the news for the past few days so I might as well share my opinions. First, let me explain what happened. Shopping Experiences – I’m not a great fan of Primark. It’s way too cheap, dirty, messy and crowded for my liking. However they sell amazing socks really cheap. Let me expand on the point that I made about it being too cheap. I mean that the quality of the clothes aren’t very good so I’d rather spend more money in another shop on less items, rather than buying a new wardrobe full of Primark clothes. No offensive to anyone who shops . . . Read more here
